Assalamualaikum and Hi,

I'm sure everybody notice that the weather is scorching hot lately, sometimes to the point that it is unbearable to be outside in the middle of day.

I am down with flu and sore throat as i am writing this. I guess my body does not tolerate this hot weather very well.

However this hot weather serves as a good reminder that this 'unbearable' heat is just a tiny weeny fractions of the bigger and greater torments in the hearafter, The Hellfire. God is great, May Allah protect us all.

Unfortunately, this sick girl still needs to eat. I decided to make a warm and hearty meal to comfort myself. I actually felt a lot better after preparing my food.

I made lasagna bolognese for dinner and had plenty of leftover for lunch today.

It was good.

This hot weather makes me wanna be at home so badly.

So calm and peaceful. Sejuuuuk je.

Assalamualaikum, hello.

*grins*

Yeay, after months of being 'laptopless' my dad finally bought me a new laptop, Alhamdulillah. It's nice to finally get what you ~~want~~ need. This is my first time using Macbook and so far, i am loving it. It's gonna take quite some time to learn how to use it and get used to the Mac operating system but i am doing okay for a beginner, i think.

Life resumes as normal. I am a final year student now, and I just can't wait to finish my study already. Now tell me how does that work? Haha. I know i should be enjoying my life as a student now while I still can because once I enter the working world, i can say bye bye to my sweet me time during long gap hours in between classes, semester break and hanging out with friends. Sigh.

Oh, I want to start eating healthy (again) too. I just don't feel comfortable with my own body because obviously I gained a few kilos during the semester break and it didn't help that I consume outside food more often now.

I know I have few changes to make, starting from this meal right here.

It's amazing, you know thinking how His timing is always perfect.

I believe that every single event in our life is perfectly planned, non- random and purposeful.

He is Kind. He is so Kind. He calls upon me when I needed Him the most. He Knows. He Knows
what's reveal and what's conceal.

Everything kinda makes sense now.

Maybe He put me in different situations so that I know how it feels to be in other person shoes, how it feels to be on the other side of the story, How difficult it is, knowing that we're are all struggling the same battle.

I was judgemental, i hope i'm not anymore.

It's funny, one minute you're on top of the world, the next minute you fall far below the antartica line. But it's good to know that He's always there to give me comfort. That He remains, always :)

I shall not despair for i know His mercy is everywhere. I may know what I want but He Knows what I need, so i put my complete trust in Him, hoping that He will give me what's best for me.

Somehow, i know this feels right for a reason.

Aidilfitri Celebration

SELAMAT HARI RAYA AIDILFITRI, MAAF ZAHIR DAN BATIN.

Time really flies, it felt like yesterday we started fasting and now we're in the month of Syawal. Let's pray that our ibadah during the holy month of Ramadhan will be accepted, Taqabal Allahu Minna wa Minkum.

Like every other year, we had a joyous celebration of Syawal. I live in a Kampung, besides my grandmother's house to be exact because my dad is a mommy's boy, he can't stay far from his mother so every year all of our family will gather at my Opah's house and my house to celebrate hari raya.

Therefore, i never had this "balik kampung feeling" because my 'kampung' and my house is separated by this tiny little fence, sigh what a bummer but im glad i dont have to go through the massive jam since my kampung is just five seconds away and i can have opah's marvelicious cookings all the time. muahahaa.

What's unique about Hari Raya at my house is we serve KFC on the first day of Raya, I don't know where does he get this idea, but my dad said it save the hassle of serving foods plus kids love KFC. Hmmm, why not?

We also had BBQ during the second night of Syawal, where all of my relatives from my mom's side and dad's side will gather at my house and just beramah mesra and mengeratkan silaturrahim. Cewah. It was really nice to be around our family, have nice food and get lotsof duit raya.

Raya without bunga api and mercun is like ketupat without rendang, still awesome but not complete, so my auntie bought two giant mercun just to make our happy day happier. It was awesome, I love Raya.

Assalamualaikum.

I just got back from Cameron Highland! This is an impromptu trip, obviously. Knowing my father, we never had a planned trip ever in our life, moreover Cameron Highland is just less than two hours drive away from our house.

It feels good to be close to nature. Have you ever wonder why we always feel calm and peaceful whenever we're close to nature? It's because the whole forest, the trees, the animals, the rocks, make Zikir to Allah. That's why we feel so tenang.

If you want to get away from your hectic life, go back to nature, InshaAllah you'll find peace. It also makes us think by looking at how magnificent is this world, our mother earth that Allah has created for us. Should't we be grateful to Allah?
